Designed in collaboration with team rider Scotty Cranmer, the Vans BMX SK8-Hi receives a signature redesign styled with performance and progressive pedal-free at the forefront of its revision. Styled in a black and brushed thyme colouring with an after dark tint, these high collared BMX shoes feature resilient uppers crafted from a blend of sturdy suede and reinforced 10oz cotton canvas, whilst the original Waffle outsole, DURACAP underlays and the design’s iconic WaffleCup BMX construction combine to deliver superior cushioned comfort, all terrain traction and a increased sense of structural support regardless of ride style. The grippy underfoot tread makes light work of any taxing terrain, whilst the Van Doren™ Gum Rubber compound complements the design’s BMX focused revision without compromise. Padded collaring pairs well with the tonal Vans side wall stripe in honour of tradition, whilst the recessed 8 eyelet lacing system keeps the ‘Vans’ embroidered tongue securely fastened across the natural arch of the foot. A PopCush sockliner provides additional impact absorption to mirror the auxetic overlays across the midfoot and forefoot, whilst the reinforced suede brace across the rear pays homage to tradition as it seals the design above the tonal ‘Off The Wall’ rubberised heel scabs.
